[/b][/size]Part 1: Character Creation
Section 1: Filling Out the Application
Creating a character is fun and easy. To create a character, you must copy and paste the application to Microsoft Word, Wordpad, etc. and fill out the blanks however you want. Go here for the application. The Real Life Info is optional, if you don't feel safe spreading your age or name across the Internet, then don't; just put a dash(-). You may only be human. No elves, dwarves, and other races.
Section 2: Classes
In the application, you will come across a blank called Classes. A class is the type of fighting your character does. For example, a Warrior will use his/her brutal strength and a melee weapon to fight, whereas a Wizard would use his/her mind powers to use powerful magic to strike from a distance. The classes are as followed, with descriptions.
Fighters
Warrior(Starting) : A warrior is someone hard-trained to fight with brutal strength. Warriors use melee weapons and fight up-close.
Thief(Lv.2 Warrior) : A thief is a cunning person with a high dexterity. They're known to use small daggers or maybe scimitars and such. Large swords are allowed, but not recommended to go with this class. It is said the best of thieves can grab the enemies money and such while striking. When fighting, if they win, they will take all of the victim's money, if any, and possibly their weapons or other objects on them.
Archer(Lv.2 Warrior) : An archer is a fighter that uses a bow-and-arrow from afar. They have no real skills, but can fight safely from afar. Recommended when with a close-up fighter.
Knight(Lv.3 Warrior) : A knight is a master of an element of the character's choice. Their weapon is imbued with the power of the element. They have NO magical powers of that element, though. Only an enchanted weapon.
Assassin(Lv.3 Warrior,Lv.2 Thief) : An assassin is the warrior of the night. Stealth is one of their main weapons. They use daggers, katanas, scimitars, and other such weapons. They have deadly aim with their throws and move with extraordinary speed.
Dark Knight(Lv.5 Knight) : A dark knight is the master of darkness. With a swing of their blade, they make a spike of darkness strike the enemy. They also have other abilities, too.
Holy Knight(Lv.5 Knight) : A holy knight is the master of light. They can make their blade shine light so bright will look like daylight. With a swing of their blade, they can make a ray of light strike at enemies from a distance. They have other abilities, too.
Magic-Users
Enchanter(Starting) : An enchanter is someone who will pick up a stick, enchant it with explosive powers, then throw it at the enemy. Or they could take berries, enchant them with healing powers, and eat them and get healed. Their powers are weak, though, for they are a starting class.
Mage(Lv.2 Enchanter) : A mage is a weaker form of a Wizard. They use weaker elemental spells, but are more powerful than Enchanters.
Cleric(Lv.2 Enchanter) : A cleric is a weaker form of a Priest. They use weaker healing spells and no defense spells.
Druid(Lv.3 Enchanter,Lv.2 Mage) : A druid is the master of nature. They can enchant berries and use them for stronger healing than the Enchanter. They can also speak to animals and use them as allies in fights. They can make quick ground by walking into a tree and appearing out of another tree miles away.
Wizard(Lv.5 Mage) : A wizard is the master of all of the elements. They can summon up bolts of lighting and balls of fire.
Priest(Lv. Cleric) : A priest can pray to their God and call upon the forces of healing and can perform miracles. Of course, they cannot resurrect the dead, though.
Summoner(Lv.3 All Magic-Users) : A summoner is the most powerful Magic-User. They can summon up ferocious monsters to fight for them. It is said the most powerful summoner, Jitrai the Summoner, once destroyed an entire city with one summon. The summoned monster was then destroyed by a Holy Knight, banished for hundreds of years. Now that summon is unknown to all.
Part 2: Leveling Up Classes
Section 1: Class Points
A Class Point(CP) is kind of like an experience point, except your Kingdom's Ruler will award the points. You will earn the points by completing missions for them. The Rulers will recieve points from me. I will determine the amount the recieve by how they are doing as a Ruler and by doing other missions. You must have 10 CP's to level up. The Rulers will post their Recruits' CP's, Class levels, and skills in their kingdom board.
Section 2: Changing Classes
When you level up your current class enough to unlock a new class, you may change your class. For example, if you started as a Warrior and you level up, you have unlocked Thief and Archer. To become either of them, you must post in the Class Changing board stating what you would like to become. I will issue you a Class Mission. You must complete that mission in the Class Mission board correctly and then I will change your Character Profile to the class that you have become. Your current class and class levels will be stated in the Character Profile page.
Part 3: General Gameplay
Section 1: Kingdom Battles
The Kingdom Battles will take place in The Battlefields board. The Ruler of the attacking kingdom will decide the battlefield at the first post of the thread. Each kingdom will start with 5000 soldiers to use. They can decide what to do with them however they wish. Rulers of the Kingdoms MUST, in their either in their Personal Text or Signature, put their amount of soldiers and how many Recruits they have. If you are trying to infiltrate and overtake a kingdom, you CANNOT type one long post saying how you took it over. You have to let the kingdom you're attacking have a chance to fight back and possibly run you back. If you do overrun the enemy, then you will take all of their soldiers as your own, kill any Recruits you wish, or have them join your army. Remembr: Taking over a Kingdom is not easy. The defending army has the higher ground in their walls, giving them an advantage. Unless you have many more soldiers than the defending army, you will have a very tough time overthrowing a kingdom.
Section 2: Duels
Duels are meant to be out-of-storyline and fought fairly. There is no just assuming you delt damage to your opponent. You must give them a chance to accept the hit or put up a defense. REMEMBR: You cannot defend everything. You must be reasonable and know when to accept the hit.
Section 3: Deaths
Don't cheat, saying you didn't die if you get stabbed right through the heart. If your opponent knocked your weapon(s) wide with one of their blades and stabbed for your heart with the other, you cannot defend it. Take the hit and die. You can always create a new character, but keep the same account. I may intervene if I wish. If I feel I shouldn't be having characters die just yet, then I will stop your killing strike with my own blade.
Section 4: Learning Skills
Every time you level up, you get a Skill Point(SP). SP's may be used in the Library(Make Library a link). You can make up any skill you want. But if you're a cleric, you cannot do Fireball or Lightning bolt. And, also, the skill you make up, along with the description, must be PMed to me BEFORE you post it in the Library. Once you post it in the library, you just wait. While waiting, you CANNOT RP anywhere until you're done waiting. You must wait for 30 minutes, and then you're done. You have learned the skill.
